Dr. Alfred Hubler was a beloved mathematics teacher and generous colleague to everyone at CMS from 1995 until his passing in January 2018. He encouraged girls to take on difficult challenges, work hard, speak up and take risks.

The Dr. Alfred Hubler Campus Middle School for Girls Fund is a quasi-endowment fund established to ensure the long-term fiscal health of the school. The Fund's principal is intended to remain inviolate in perpetuity; investment income will be used to provide financial aid, and to help to meet educational needs of CMS students. The Fund is held by the Community Foundation of East Central Illinois (www.cfeci.org).

Your generous gift not only pays tribute to Alfred, but also helps us to continue his work. Alfred and his family were instrumental in the establishment of Campus Middle School for Girls, and all six of his daughters are proud alumnae. Upon his death, his family directed his funeral gifts to CMS; those gifts provided the foundation of this endowment.

Your contribution secures his legacy and strengthens the school that he so loved.
