Elaine Giermak often said that CMS is "the best place for girls." She was a highly qualified and experienced English teacher, and in her 12 years at CMS she inspired hundreds of students to become avid readers and writers. She was a wise friend and colleague and an enthusiastic supporter of girls' education.
Elaine was also a devoted supporter of CMS; she donated regularly to make CMS accessible to girls whose families needed a little help with tuition. She helped make it possible for more girls to attend the school she loved.
To continue Elaine's legacy, Frank Hoss, husband of Elaine, has established the Elaine Giermak Tuition Assistance Fund. All gifts to this fund will be invested in a CMS student in the form of a tuition and fee reduction. Your generosity will help all of us at CMS to carry on the work that was so important to Elaine.
